Monkey Business

Just a quick post today. I wanted to post something to let you know about a cool blog candy opportunity. For today's card, I did a similar faux batik background as the one I did for a recent bluebird card. I am including a link to that post for the general technique instructions. Instead of blue sprays, I chose a selection of greens. All of the stamps for this card are by Hero Arts. The monkey and leaves were stamped with Memento ink and colored with Copic Markers. I cut out the leaves and glued them on top of the white square. I popped up one leaf on each side for a 3-D effect. I also popped up the saying.
