Greetings friends. I am sharing two more cards with you today. The first one uses vellum. I stamped the image and sentiment onto the vellum with Black Staz On and then colored it from behind with Copic markers. You have to color the image from behind or it will smear the ink. I added some glue dots behind the brown brads to hold the vellum onto the card. Vellum can be tricky to attach since you can often see the adhesive, but his was a way to hide the tape.
For the second card, I used a stamp positioner and stamped the heart and sentiment onto kraft cardstock with black Impression Obsession ink and then colored it with colored pencils. I even added a little bit of light blue pencil around the heart to make it "pop" more. I put the card back into my stamp positioner and stamped the heart once again so that all the details of the flowers and leaves would be nice and crisp.
For both cards today, I paired them with paper from the Homespun Floral Christmas pack. Just because some packs are released for Christmas doesn't mean you can't use them year- round!
