Good luck, and here is a list of designers in today's hop:
Greetings friends! It is a new month and time for a new red rubber stamp kit. The December kit is loaded with lots of goodies for the winter months. I want to share two winter greeting cards with you today. This is what is included in the kit:
For my first card, I stamped the village in black Memento ink at the center of some white cardstock. I then colored it with Copic markers. I added a little bit of blue Copic marker above the houses so that I would have some transition from the Copic coloring to the Distress Inks I sponged to make the sky. After I added my sky, I spritzed the whole thing lightly with water to create splotches in the sky that look like snow.
For my second card, I once again colored my image with Copic markers, but this time I chose markers that would match the Impression Obsession pattered paper that I used for the background. I often let patterned paper determine which Copic markers I use.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Beautiful scene! I love the birds too!
Again, the quaint village wins the honors and the birds are just adorable. Beautiful creations!
Pretty cards! I love the beautiful village scene, and the birds and print paper are awesome too!
Beautiful cards! I love this kit! As much as I love winter houses (a must have) I also love the rest of this set. Birds are another on my wish list so this set is perfect!
The birds are so cute. Loving the look
The first village scene is so charming and such a fun pairing of the birds and papers!
Thanks for the great tip on using the paper to determine ink colors. I don't know why I didn't think of that, because I do that with fabrics when I make a quilt! Both cards are wonderful, and I so appreciate your talent.
Great technique for the sky on the village scene and love the color coordination on the bird card. Nice.
Wow!!! Awesome village scene and your birds look fabulous with the poinsettia background.
The nostalgic Christmas hones are so pretty, I love that sky. The birds are darling, Nice pattern paper choice, it is the perfect colors for these sweet chickadees (In dad's world there were only 3 types of birds, Cardinals, which he sends to me from heaven. Then Blue Jays, and then all the rest were chickadees). Thanks for the smile. Merry Christmas Ms. Laura.
