IO Theme Day- Spring Colors

We have set aside a day to share some fun themed projects! This month’s theme is spring colors!

Have fun checking out what our Designers have made today. Today's participants can be found on the Impression Obsession Blog.

Greetings friends. For this month's theme, I decided to go with yellow. In addition to pastels, it is the color I often associate with spring. It probably has something to do with all the daffodils we get around here.

Speaking of daffodils, I made my own background for this card using a base layer of the Distressed Denim Cover a Card image stamped in IO Banana ink and then stamped the Daffodil Cover a Card image on top using the IO Goldenrod ink. Here is a close up so that you can see the two patterns stamped on top of each other:

For the main image, I used the April Red Rubber kit. It has really sweet images for spring:

I stamped the chicks in black ink and then colored them with some yellow PanPastel chalk and added some Prismacolor pencils on top.

It is a very quick and easy card to make!

Don't forget that all Impression Obsession items are 20% off this month.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
