Greetings friends. It is a new month and therefore, it is time for a new Impression Obsession release.

I decided to start with sending hugs to a friend. Don't all of us need hugs right about now?

To make the card, I started by stamping the gingham background onto green cardstock using green ink. The item number for the gingham background is 006, so you could say that it is one of the OG background. I have used it for so many years! It is so easy to simply change the color and get a completely different look.

For the lemon image, I cut out some 140lb watercolor paper using the eyelet circle die and then stamped my image using black archival ink. Next, I colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a waterbrush.and popped up my sentiment with some foam tape.

Impression Obsession items used:

Lemon D21363

Big Squeeze C21360

Eyelet Circle die DIE924V

Gingham Cover a Card CC006

Next on the hop is Laura Williams.

Great card and stamp and sentiment! Every time I come home from California, I try and bring fresh citrus. This stamp reminds me of how fantastic lemons and limes are!

Lovely card, I like that you used a background stamp two tone instead of patterned paper. Inspires me to go through my background stamps.
