IO January Release Day 2

 

Welcome to the Impression Obsession January 2021 Release Celebration!

Greetings friends. I hope you have been enjoying the hop so far. Today brings a whole new batch of sample ideas.

Today I am sharing a card that makes me think of my mom. The sentiment is on par with what she says to me, and I chose colors and flowers that made me think of her. I think all of us have lots of people that we have been missing in this socially distanced world.

The card also is the first one I am showing you with a brand new Cover a Card background. You know I love my backgrounds! It is called "Peony Pattern" and has nice solid flowers for creating a tone-on-tone background.

For the main panel of the card, I stamped the flower vase on top of the sentiment and then colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a waterbrush. I decided to color in each letter so that it would match the rest of the card.

    I always look forward to your stop on the hop, Laura! Sometimes no one else on the hop will use the CAC's but I can always count on you!!! I think we both share a CAC addiction. LOL! This card is so sweet, and perfect for moms everywhere! I know your mom will love receiving this in lieu of visits and hugs!
