Greetings friends.  Who is ready for a new year and a new release?  I know I am. I am praying for health and happiness for everyone in 2021.

For my card today, I wanted to make a valentine that isn't really a valentine.  It could be used for February 14th as well as a comfort card for anyone that needs a little extra support. I like that you can use it year-round send it to many different people in addition to a significant other.

To make the card, I stamped the sentiment in brown ink on a  kraft notecard.  I then stamped the dog onto 140lb watercolor paper in black archival ink and before coloring him with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a waterbrush. As a finishing touch, I added a heart diecut and some neutral twine.

I hope you will visit all the designers today and be inspired by their creations!

  15. That little pup is beyond cuteness & adorability. I'm liking the Big Hug word die you've used beside it. I also agree we can send a card saying we love someone without it being valentines day, be it your spouse, your kids, or a friend.
