CHA Blog Hop- Day 1

Welcome to the first day of our week long CHA DT Blog Hop. We are using our new Fall/Winter stamps and dies. Mitra is also introducing them starting today at CHA at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, July 22 through 25. The details of the challenge are below my card details and the DT blog list.

I am a big fan of Leigh Hannan's designs.  The are fun and quirky, and they are unlike anything I have seen before.  For my card today, I used her new Ghost Cone (E2456) and paired it with the new Spooky Cover a Card background (CC160).  To color the image, I used Copic markers and some Wink of Stella clear brush marker for the tops of the cones for sparkle.  Does anyone else like to make Halloween cards as much as I do?

Don't forget to check out the other designers in the blog hop for a chance to win prizes.

Blog Hop Details
We are having a $25 Gift Certificate drawing each day during the hop, with an extra drawing on Friday. Follow the guidelines below the DT participant list each day and you will be eligible to win. What a 'sweet' way to make the scary not so scary. This would be great for smaller kids. Thanks for sharing, and for the chance to win!

A Halloween cone, how adorable is that! You could even place the cone on the top ghost and tilt it off to the right a bit. (When I was quite young, I'd go to the major department store with my Mom and for dessert this is the treat that I received. It was a special memory that I will always have of my Mother as she passed away in May)
