Greetings friends. Today we are celebrating dies on the IO blogs today. I thought I would share a favorite from the new release because it is just so practical. It is the new Trees set. I like them so much because they can be used year-round for pretty much any occasion.
To highlight the dies, I did a simple watercolor wash in the background to make a landscape backdrop for my trees. I pre-wet my watercolor paper with a rectangle I painted with clear water. I then added some blue and green paint to the water to give the impression of Earth and sky. I decided to add a sentiment that I feel like a few of us could use right about now.
