IO Challenge- Ghoulish Greetings

Greetings everyone!  The new die blog hop is over, but it is time for another Impression Obsession challenge.  I absolutely love making Halloween cards, and I thought I would share one of the cards from my upcoming class on Sunday where we will make 10 quick and easy Halloween cards.

For this particular card, I wanted to do something that was a little nontraditional.  There are no bats, cats, or witches.  I just took some trees and added a really big moon behind them.  There is just something eerie about a really big full moon.

To make the card, I stamped the Spooky Trees (H7759) onto white cardstock with black ink.  I then added a circle mask where I wanted the moon to be:

Next, I sponged the sky with Distress Inks (Stormy Sky, Seedless Preserves, Concord Grape, Black Soot):

I trimmed the white cardstock, layered it onto a grey notecard, and added a saying (Spooktacular).

This makes you think a ghost is going to jump out and grab you any minute. Cute. Thank you.

Wow I love all the colored ink blending in together and just a simple stamp, no need for any ribbons, etc. Thanks for sharing and the chance to win.

I like it - and could do something similar with the trees cover a card! I like the sentiment too!

Your card is fantastic! I love that it only has trees and a moon. So spooky - and the colors ... such a great card.
