For my first card, I was inspired by the song "It's Not Easy Being Green." I chose to color one of the flowers (CS540 Bunch of Blossoms) in a green that was different from the rest and chose a saying that reflected the idea that we are each a little bit different (from clear set CL350 Life Lessons 1). I die cut out the green blossom using the coordinating die (DIE148-L Bunch of Blossoms). To add a bit more interest, I embossed all the flowers in clear embossing powder:
For my second card, I used the song "Rainbow Connection." I used the same blossom with coordinating die and stamped the flowers with an assortment of Memento Luxe ink pads. I used a saying from a clear stamp set (Cl307 All Occasion II) and added an embossed background using a folder from Lifestyle Crafts.
My original plan was to use the central oval with flowers on top of a white on white card card with the Branch Die (DIE007-L) in green paper. However, after a half hour of looking for the die with no success, I decided that the card should be inspired by "Let it Go" and went with a plan B that included black cardstock. Can't everything be summed up with song titles?

Rainbow Connection is one of my all-time favorites! Really like both your cards, you did a great job expressing the songs.
