IO DT Challenge- Holiday Gifts

Today the theme for the Impression Obsession Design Team is holiday gifts. I decided to make a photo/card holder, because lets face it, I know a lot of people who have cards to display!

This is the time of year when I start looking at sale bins for items I can alter for gifts. I recently found this photo holder:

I really liked the dark wood, but what where they thinking when they put a large metal question mark on the side? I just don't get it. In any case, I ended up getting it for 97 cents. Woohoo! I layered some Memory Box Dewfrost paper on top since the browns and blues coordinated with the color of the wood and added an Impression Obsession snowflake (B7270) as a focal point. It is the same snowflake I used in the last challenge. I guess you could say that I like it!

I colored the snowflake with a blue Tombo marker and then added some stickles and clear rhinestones. Here is a close up:

I repeated the pattern on all sides of the holder. Here is a side view:
