Recently, I made a couple of cards with my new "stand out in a crowd" stamp from
Impression Obsession. The first card I made was for a birthday (hence the need for a balloon). I thought it worked well given that the recipient likes birds. However, it wasn't my best idea for a sample card because I pulled the birds from an IO Valentine's Day set. I didn't realize that the birds weren't sold separately. I just thought the birds were so sweet.

The second card uses one of the new Leigh Hannan images for summer. The funky fish were fun to color, but now I am wishing I had colored the majority of fish blue and the one fish yellow/orange in keeping with the wave of the paper. What do you think?

I love it and it makes the point perfectly! Brilliant!
Card is great just the way it is! Blue fish.....that's just silly. Fish aren't blue. :) You're so creative. YOU stand out in a crowd! Q
Hum...my mom says I stand out in a crowd. Any bias here?
Hey Laura! I LOVE these cards! I called Mitra the other day and used some of my GC so I could get that saying. I am probably going to CASE your birdie card. It totally rocks!
Have a fab weekend!

I love the yellow/orange fishes - I think it makes the card really "explode"
i agree -- I think one fish standing out from the others would have provided more visual impact
