Today, I decided to make a very quick and easy card. As of the time of posting, all of the items I selected for the card are available. I am really trying my best to only use remaining inventory.
For my card, I chose the Santa die as my focal point because it is a solid die and there is no need to do any coloring:
You could always do a sponged nighttime sky, but once again, I was going for quick and easy.
Next, I layered my Santa die inside a checkered frame. I thought the colors looked like a peppermint stick. I have often used this frame for seasonal cards (i.e. black and orange for Halloween). Most of the squares popped out on their own when I used the die, but if you wanted an even faster card, you could add a single color paper as a frame and skip the die cut. The frame itself is part of a nesting set:
The sentiment comes from a Santa clear set. I plan to use this set on an upcoming sample if it is still available then:
Finally, I layered everything onto some IO Christmas paper. There isn't a lot of IO Christmas paper left, but this one is from a pack called Christmas Doodles:
Here is a closer picture of the patterned red paper. It has muted Santa hats and snowflakes on it. The paper pack is a bit of a juxtaposition. The colors are quite bright and bold, but the doodle prints are soft and understated:
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
