Greetings friends. The January release has a lot of my favorite things including a new Cover a Card background and some coffee themed stamps and dies.

Then new Cover a Card is called Flower Pattern and looks like this:

I like it because you can do as much or as little as you want with it. I left it alone to make a black and white card, but you could spotlight certain flowers or go crazy and color everything. I think it would also look great embossed over old patterned paper scraps.

The coffee stamps and coordinating dies are from a line called "Bean Thinking."

The stamp set has a lot of possibilities, including stamping on the envelope you mail.

To make the card, I first used one of the new Windows stencil and sponged light brown ink over three open circle windows. I then added some Copic colored coffee images as well as a coordinating sentiment. The final touch was to layer everything over my stamped background.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

  1. The Flower Pattern is very pretty. I'm not a coffee drinker so I'm told because I like mine with 1/3 sugar and 1/3 cream. Does that count as coffee? It's a great coffee set. [Bunny]
