IO Theme Day- Hearts

 

Greetings friends. The Impression Obsession design team are all sharing our take on the "hearts" theme. Valentine's Day is coming up, but hearts can be used year-round.I hope you will join us in making your own heart-themed cards.  A full list of participating designers can be found over on the Impression Obsession blog. For my contribution to the heart theme, I thought I would make a card that could work as a valentine as well as a general I love you card. Of course, you would have to find someone that you love more than coffee to send it to, and that might be hard.

To make the card, I made my own background using this Cover a Card design:

For the central image, I cut out my mug die and made it look as though the dog was popping out of it. I colored him with Copic markers and added my sentiment to the mug.
