March Release Blog Hop- Day 2

If you came from Kia Gibson Clapper,  you are in the correct place. If not head over to the Impression Obsession blog for the start of the hop.

Each day (March 1st & March 2nd) you can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog. We will be giving away THREE Impression Obsession $25 gift certificates for the event - so the more you comment through our Release Celebration the more chances to win!

All comments for each of the event days will be open until Monday March 8th at midnight CT. All winners will be announced on Tuesday March 9th on the Impression Obsession Blog.
The new stamps are available now! You can find them all HERE

Next on the hop is Laura Williams

Greeting friends. Today I want to share a card with you that I made as a sympathy/comfort card, but honestly, if you swapped out the sentiment, you could use it for pretty much any occasion.

To make the card, I stamped the flowers onto 140lb watercolor paper and watercolored it with some Zig Clean color markers. I tend to use my Zig's for a watercolor project like this because the image has a lot of detail, and it is just easier to color with a fine tip marker.

For the background, I used one of the oldest Cover a Card backgrounds called "Fizz." I often use this background to make a party/celebration card, so it surprised me that I liked it so much for a sympathy card. I just wanted something with dots to match my flowers.
