Greetings friends. It is time for another IO challenge, and this time the theme is "Play With Your Food." Food themes are always fun. They can be seasonal, celebratory, or even quarantined related. If you want to learn more about the challenge so that you can join us, be sure to check out the Impression Obsession blog.
For my card, I made a watermelon card using some of the new summer stamps. I feel like I make an annual watermelon card. I absolutely love the watermelon look. Funny note about that...I hate the smell and taste of watermelon. It seems strange that I want to decorate everything in it for summer!
To make the card, I stamped my watermelon slice and sentiment onto white cardstock. I colored the slice with Copic markers and then created a background of watermelon seeds. The seeds were made from a clear heart stamp that I cut in half.

Such a cute card, I like the melon seed background.
Wonderful card using the watermelon set. I love the seeds with that color for the background. It goes so great with the slice of melon.
That's really cute. It tickles me because I welcomed my class one year with a similar sentiment and different stamps. Good ideas last forever! This card would be so good for Carole's Safelight project each year, too.
Lovely postt
