IO Challenge- Best Friends

Greetings friends.  Today's challenge is called "Best Friends." Do you have a best friend in your life who could use a card?  The design team has lots of samples for inspiration.  If you would like to join the challenge, visit the Impression Obsession blog to get all of the information and to get a list of all the participating designers.

 

For my card today, I chose a couple of the newer dies to create my best friend pairing.  Anna Wight has designed lots of super sweet animal dies, but I chose two animals that were a bit more seasonal.  

To make the card, I made my own background using some 140lb watercolor paper and a leafy Cover a Card Background.  I inked up my background with various Distress Inks, spritzed it with water and stamped it onto my watercolor paper.  I liked the softer watercolored look.

For the central part of the card, I cut out a frame that matched my card color, cut out my chick and bunny, and cut out a banner for my sentiment. I popped up my frame with some foam tape, added my banner with sentiment and added a twine bow.
