Every single blog will have a $25 gift certificate to give away for the event - so the more you comment through our Release Celebration the more chances to win!  All comments for all of the event days will be open until Sunday July 7th at noon CT. All winners will be announced on Tuesday July 9th. Good luck!
All of the new stamps are available now! You can find them all HERE

Greetings friends.  Today I want to show you a card that is so quick and easy and yet a good one to have on hand in case you know someone who needs a bit of a pick me up or some encouragement.

To start, I took a cream card and sponged a band of yellow PanPastel chalk at the bottom, some orange PanPastel in the middle and some Magenta PanPastel at the top.  Then I put my card in the MISTI stamp positioner and stamped the Forest Sun image on top in brown Versafine ink.  To finish the card, I added my sentiment on top of a banner I cut using the Pinked Stitched Sentiment die.  Done!  You really can do it in less than 10 minutes, and that includes die cutting time.

Hint...it really is a good idea to use a stamp positioner for this card.  Anytime you are stamping a large or detailed stamp (this one is both), you might need to stamp it more than once to get a good impression.

Items Used in this card:
Forest Sun L13829
Pinked Stitched Sentiment Banner DIE814-U
Sentiments 3219-LG (It is a set.  I used the Keep Faith sentiment out of the set)

  17. Just gorgeous! Silhouette style stamps make card making super fast. Sponge a background, stamp the images over top, and slap a sentiment on it. And non-crafters are always so impressed by it :-)
