Greetings friends. For today's card, I was inspired to play with the new garden bench die. It comes with all the plants, pots, grass, watering can, flowers, etc. You can really build the scene in any way that you want.
I started by cutting a stitched circle out ow white cardstock using the new Scalloped Stitched Circles nesting dies. I then added a post-it in the center and sponged blue panpastel to the top and brown panpastel chalk to the bottom to "ground" my images.
Next, I cut out a bunch of gardening elements from 140lb watercolor paper and colored them with Zig Clean Color brush markers. to finish the card, I added a bit of natural twine. Here is a close up:
Happy die cutting!

ReplyDeleteLove this card. :) I think I need those plant dies.
ReplyDeleteWonderful scene, great dies!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card!!! Very creative!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat coloring with the Zig markers!!! I have them but I have a harder time watercoloring with them than Tombows, not sure why. Seems like I end up with too much pigment and not enough hilight. Ah, this just reminds me that i need to practice some more with them to get where I want to be :-) Love how your card came out!!!
