For this particular card, I wanted to do something that was a little nontraditional. There are no bats, cats, or witches. I just took some trees and added a really big moon behind them. There is just something eerie about a really big full moon.
To make the card, I stamped the Spooky Trees (H7759) onto white cardstock with black ink. I then added a circle mask where I wanted the moon to be:
Next, I sponged the sky with Distress Inks (Stormy Sky, Seedless Preserves, Concord Grape, Black Soot):
I trimmed the white cardstock, layered it onto a grey notecard, and added a saying (Spooktacular).

This makes you think a ghost is going to jump out and grab you any minute. Cute. Thank you.

Love your distress stained background!
Wow I love all the colored ink blending in together and just a simple stamp, no need for any ribbons, etc. Thanks for sharing and the chance to win.
Really like how you blended, cute card.
I LOVE you color work on this card.
Love your card, absolutely beautiful!
I like it - and could do something similar with the trees cover a card! I like the sentiment too!
Great card! I love the background & the hugh harvest moom.
Great card! I have to say that the sky is just amazing!
That background is amazing and I like that you showed how you did it!
Your card is fantastic! I love that it only has trees and a moon. So spooky - and the colors ... such a great card.
