Greetings friends. Today the designers are all sharing favorite stamps from the February release. I was really drawn to a couple of sentiments in this latest batch of images. Perhaps it is strange to select sentiments instead of pictures, but I know I will use these two stamps a lot. I think that might be how you define "favorite."

The first sentiment is one I will be sending to all my girlfriends. I think think it is beautifully empowering. I stamped the quote over an Impression Obsession cloud background and added some washi road tape and some grass cut from an Impression Obsession die. Very simple!

Clouds Cover a Card CC091

The second card uses the "Inking of You" sentiment. Isn't it fantastic?! It is going to be used on all my leftover crafting pieces for a quick and easy card. I have so many crafting buddies that I know will love this. For my card, I stamped various Impression Obsession splotches in different colors. It look me less than 5 minutes, but I think it was my favorite card I made from the release.

Greetings friends. I can't tell you how much fun it has been to start stamping in anticipation of spring. I love bunnies, chicks, eggs, and of course....jellybeans. On a side note, have you tried the sour jellybeans at Trader Joes? If you like sour candies as much as I do, give them a try!

The card today features the new Jellybean clear set as well as a whole bunch of Impression Obsession inks. This is what the set looks like:

Isn't it fun? I stamped the bean multiple times onto my white cardstock using various light ink colors from Impression Obsession. Solid clear stamps give better impressions the more you use them. I made sure to use my bean with a stamp postioner (the MISTI) so that I could stamp each bean multiple times for even coverage.

Next, I stamped my sentiment with black ink and then hand drew white highlights to the beans using a white Signo pen.I thought the little extra color made them look more like beans.

Impression Obsession Items Used:
MC1108 Jellybean

(I used Chartreuse, Pistachio, Lilac, Lavender, Baby Blue, Seafoam, Bubblegum, Blush, Peach, and Banana). I chose light colors because they reminded me more of spring, and I knew I would stamp each of them multiple times and I didn't want the colors to get too dark.

For my cards today, I am sharing two cards from my quick and easy Valentine's Day card class.  I'm all about being able to mass-produce cards!  With that in mind, I try to make Valentine's Day cards that could be given to anyone special in your life, whether it is a significant other, parent, sibling, friend, etc.

For the first card, I went with a vellum overlay.  It is been quite a while since I have done that.  I added the heart strip of paper for decoration and also to cover up my tape.
Items used:
Impression Obsession So Very Loved B13276
Impression Obsession Chalk Heart Large F9508

For my second card, I used my new favorite Cover a Card background- Lattice.  It is awesome!  You are going to see this one a lot from me. I colored the heart with some Peerless watercolors on heavy watercolor paper.
Items used:
Impression Obsession Lattice Cover a Card CC202

Greetings friends. It is time for a new Impression Obsession release! I wanted to start off with a card that just made me laugh. I knew when I saw the sentiment that I had to use it. It might not be for everyone, but that is just how my sense of humor works.

To make the card, I fist started with a piece of black glossy paper and stamped my stars in white before embossing them so that they wouldn't smudge. There are a couple of new ground textures in the latest release, so I stamped the dirt texture under my campfire. Having the textures are going to be fantastic for building different landscapes.

Next, I added my campfire and hot dog. I edged the hot dog with a little Distress ink to give it a bit of dimension.

To finish the card, I diecut my large frame to set the scene and added the sentiment I love so much.

Impression Obsession items Used:
Camping with Bigfoot CL1064 (sentiment is in this set)
Stars L5756

Greetings friends. It is time for a new release, and this time there are lots of items for summer fun. For both of my cards today, I am featuring dies from the new Summer Cupcake Topper die set, which looks like this:

I also paired each card with a coordinating clear set loaded with crab sentiments:

For the first card, I was inspired by the crab-uccino sentiment and layered my die cut elements onto some of Impression Obsession's coffee-themed paper. I also edged the crab and coffee cup dies with darker inks to add a little bit of shading.

The second card is a really quick and easy one. I simply added some of the new dies to Impression Obsession beach paper. It is hard to see from the picture, but I also added a touch of clear glaze gel pen to the sun glass lenses to make them shiny.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Greetings friends. Have you started making your holiday cards yet?  The new Impression Obsession Winter die release has such amazing products.  I hope you are inspired by them.

For my card today, I used the new St. Nick die.  I love him!  I think he is great for cards, but I have some ideas for using him for ornaments or a table decoration.  So many possibbilities.....

Instructions:
Cut out the Santa using white, red and black cardstock for his outfit.
Cut out the Santa face, moustache and beard using watercolor paper.
To color the Santa face, edge the sides of his face with the Blush colored Zig marker and then soften towards the center of the face using a waterbrush.  Remember, if you aren’t getting a gradient of color, wipe off your waterbrush and continue to blend.  You want to have the center of the face have very little color.
Dab a little of the Tea Rose Zig marker to the face to create cheeks.  You can soften the edges of the cheeks if needed with a waterbrush.
Color the nose with Tea Rose Zig marker
Glue scrap of black cardstock behind the eyes
Color the outside edges of the beard with gray marker and soften with waterbrush towards the center of the beard.
Color the top of the mustache with gray marker and soften with the waterbrush towards the bottom of the mustache.

Supplies Used on the Card:
