Greetings friends. Today I am sharing a card I made from the latest Freshly Made Sketches Challenge 686. The sketch looked like this:
I really liked the layout, so I felt compelled to use the design. In fact, one of the cards from my last post also had a similar layout. To make the card, I cut out a flower and leaf from Memory Box and layered it on top of some older patterned paper from Impression Obsession. I cut the pieces of the flower and leaves out of colored cardstock and then sponged on some Distress Oxide ink for dimension. Once everything was cut, I added it behind a vellum pocket and added a Memory Box Happy Birthday sentiment.
I am always so happy to have extra birthday cards ready to go.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
What a fun and creative use of the sketch! I love that flower peeking out of the vellum pocket. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
